The doggie-door flap is a photo of Venice, Italy.  On 29th Street in Astoria, down the block from the Immaculate Conception Church, which is known to the neighborhood as Immac.  As in, “Immac is Wack!”  Even if you weren’t Catholic, you probably dealt with the Immaculate Conception Youth Program, ICYP, because they run the Little League.  I can’t say what it’s like now, but back in the day, the field was full of rocks and all the coaches were crazy fat guidos.  In a good way.
