When I posted about the possible park along the old LIRR Rockaway line, I didn’t know reactivating the line was even an option! The bright-yellow line above is one possibility (d’oh—why didn’t they consider it when building the AirTrain?). Parks are fine and all, but more transit is always better, especially if it’s more transit in Queens. Here’s a petition asking Gov. Cuomo to look into the matter.
